iPhone or iPad
- Step 1: Open Safari and go to theadvocacyvillageapp.ca.
- Step 2: Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Step 3: Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Step 4: Tap Add. AVA now has its own icon on your home screen.
Don't see Add to Home Screen? Check that you are in Safari, not in the browser inside another app such as email or Facebook. It happens to everyone.
Android phone
- Step 1: Open Chrome and go to theadvocacyvillageapp.ca.
- Step 2: Tap the three dots at the top right.
- Step 3: Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Step 4: Tap Install.
Computer
Use AVA in any browser at theadvocacyvillageapp.ca, with nothing to install. In Chrome or Edge you can also click the install icon at the right of the address bar to give AVA its own window.
Good to know
- AVA needs an internet connection.
- When a new version is ready, AVA shows a banner. Tap Refresh.
- Deleting the icon takes AVA off your phone but keeps your account. To delete your account, see Leaving the test on the Getting started page.
